The original founders, Dennis Smith and Matt Wilson, drew their experience from different backgrounds. Dennis was an entrepreneur who owned a company that performed service and repair work mainly for property management companies. Matt worked in the building supply industry as an operations manager. As the company expanded these two backgrounds made for a perfect combination of skills and experience. Moreover, each brought to the business some great contacts and relationships that developed the foundation for what is now a well respected provider of services throughout the Midwest, and Southern half of the United States.

In late 2007, Contractors Inc. entered into a partnership with Crane Group from Columbus, Ohio. This partnership established a solid financial base on which the company has continued to grow and expand into new territories. In addition to financial support, Crane inserted a few experienced business managers to help facilitate the future growth of the company. With the professional management team and the highly experienced service team now in place, we expect to continue this path of growth that reflects the way the company has always operated… to provide excellent service at a fair price.
